Minors (Softball)

Our minors softball teams are a great introduction to the game. Players are typically 7-11 years old. Minors will typically play 2 or 3 times a week. Games are inter-league with AOR, Dimond West, Knik, Nunaka Valley and Palmer. It is up to the coaches to make a practice schedule. Some will hold dedicated practices and some ask players to come an hour before the game and consider that practice.

Games generally start at 6:30 but may have a different start time while school is still in section versus summer time. The season will end after All-stars in early July. 

If your player is interested in increasing their competitive level, they can try-out for Majors softball. The player placement evaluation (PPE) dates and location can be found by clicking "softball" from the division description drop down menu. This year's calendar link is also on that page.
